During the month of April, we focused on Still Lifes in the drawing center. We were able to borrow some taxidermy animals from Mr King as well as a few figurines and some flowers. Our still life table was a round table with things all around it. Students could sit around the table and find the point of view they liked the best.
Our students were very enthusiastic about drawing their still lifes. Many students drew one or more of the animals and then added their own artistic touch by creating backgrounds and filling their papers with some amazing details! Please take a look at our gallery page where I have uploaded the student's artwork inspired by the still life set up.

Ryan chose to draw the angel figurine that I had placed on the table. Look at the amazing detail. He spent a lot of time working on the feathers on the wings and all of his classmates were super impressed!
